Oyster Dinakdakan
Oyster Dinakdakan

For appetizer, we have the Oyster Dinakdakan. They say, any good kitchen should be stocked up in oysters. Well, Rekado has just fried it, tossed it in lots of onions, chilis and in seasoned creamy dressing and viola! The depth of flavors are just incredible, you can't help but moan with every bite. The balance of everything in this iron skillet just made it the best-tasting starter I had so far in Rekado. The oyster’s natural salt and umami flavors made this dish a must try.

Corned Beef and Bone Marrow Bulalo. What’s not to love about Bulalo? Especially if it is serve with spice-rich broth and collagen-filled bone marrow. They may contain high percentage of fat though, but believe me they’re good for your skin. At this point in my life, maintaining younger skin is way more than just a cosmetic intervention, hence, eating bone marrow is a delicious alternative solution. Why not?

Every bowl comes with Rekado quality veggies and specially made corned beef with absolutely no preservatives added. A bowl won’t hurt, you know? Give it a try, you’ll thank me for this.

Crispy Dinuguan with Chicharon and Burong Mangga. If you’re a fan or have craving tendencies for Dinuguan or Pork Blood Stew you should try Rekado’s version. I actually didn’t know Dinuguan can do well paired with Chicharon and fried pork belly until I tried Rekado’s.  Each serving is topped with Rekado’s signature Burong Mangga, a must to balance the richness of the dish.

Chicken Adobo sa Gata
Chicken Adobo sa Gata

Chicken Adobo sa Gata. Rekado has just brought this all-time Filipino favorite one level up. Chicken Adobo is already an appetizing dish in itself.  But adding coconut milk has just changed the playing field. The ‘gata’ made the sauce creamy and savory, you’ll keep asking for more. If I’ll have the chance to take out a serving and bring it home one day, ‘alam na this’. Keep the rice cooker close, I'm all in for extra rice all the way!

Inihaw Na Liempo
Inihaw Na Liempo

Every Filipino family has its own cooking and marinade secret to coming up with flavorsome Inihaw Na Liempo. Moderately charred to infuse smokiness, use of young pork, extended marination etc. are just few of the known fact being kept.

Rekado has its own version too and has upped the ante by serving a platter of tender, juicy and flavor-rich liempo. They’re so good – mapaextra rice ka! Sarap magkamay! It's a recommended pick!

Davao Seafood Platter
Davao Seafood Platter

If you’re dining with family and friends, this Davao Seafood Platter is a must order. It can feed 3-4 persons. It has tuna panga, bagaybay, bihod and baked imbao on it. They’re fresh bounties from Davao seas marinated and grilled to Rekado perfection.  It comes with three side dishes, my ever-loved Burong Mangga, Ensaladang talong and spiced soy sauce .
