Elegance Experience with House of Morande at Seda Hotel Abreeza

The T’nalak hall of Seda Abreeza was filled with wine connoisseurs for the wine tasting event hosted by the hotel on June 11.

Morande Wines, an impressive Chilean label which originated from the coastal wine valleys of Chile, will now be carried in the wine list of the hotel.

I had a pleasure to carry out the manner of see, swirl, smell, taste, savor and engage a good company over a glass of wine during the event. The wine tasting was also a venue for Misto, Seda Abreeza’s winning restaurant, to showcase a fabulous and generous spread of cheeses, finger foods, and Misto’s signature dish - slow-cooked Roasted Angus Beef Short Plate.

Eight varieties of Morande wines were laid on the long table to taste; Morande Pionero Reserva Sauvignon Blanc, Morande Pionero Sonador Chardonnay, Morande Pionero Reserva Pinot Noir,  Morande Pionero Reserva Merlot, Morande Reserva One to One Merlot, Morande Reserva One to One Cabernet Sauvignon, Morande Gran Reserva Cabernet Sauvignon and the House of Morande. All came from the interesting wine valleys of Chile.

Morande Wines are imported by Masterchef Republic. The company also carries salmon, crocodile, and ostrich meats.

Good wine, good food, good and silly company ... what more can a woman ask for? This is the life! Thanks a bunch Seda Abreeza for having me :)

A deep densely red wine with hints of purple. Its perfume is reminiscent of wild woodland fruits and wild cherries, with notes of spices preserved density and balanced acidity. Its finish is long and balanced with great persistence.

Ernest Hemingway once said; “Wine is one of the most civilized things in the world and one of the most natural things of the world that has been brought to the greatest perfection, and it offers a greater range for enjoyment and appreciation than, possibly, any other purely sensory thing.” So drink up!
