FREE ME!

Personally, I really do not agree having these creatures caged in our backyard. I really feel for these creatures, no freedom, no anything related to that concept. But I also feel for son having himself busy every morning tending his pet, that according to research these activities are good for the child’s growth and development.

But as a woman who also advocates animals rights I’m torn between two principled walls. To support the animal rights, that is animals should be viewed as non-human persons and members of the moral community, and should not be used as food, clothing, research subjects, or entertainment or to support the hobby that my son finds solace everyday….. Sigh! I can’t figure out which wall to take side yet. Happy Saturday everyone.
