I swear I never have watched a movie with my husband that he cried other than this - this movie is close to being a masterpiece. I should love my own, so to speak, but Philippine movies’ theme are recycled over and over again that it's already so predictable and sad to say, producers spend less on research which I think they should work on. But applaud the makers of independent films, they are brilliant.
Other than Japanese series, which also are superb when it comes to themes, some Korean Movies are wonderfully crafted… I swear, two hands up.
And A MOMENT TO REMEMBER is just one of the best these yellow people had brought into the cinemas.
Sad to say, it did not reach our cinema screens and we’ve watched it only on home DVD, (sorry, pirated, LOL!) but it’s the first time I brought my husband into tears, grabeeeee, it will really blow you emotionally, it’s because it runs around the story of how a tough man have loved and took care of a woman who has forgotten who she was as she was suffering from Alzheimer's disease. This movie opened my eyes to what this disease can cause you and your family. Don’t ask me anymore the names of the actors, I find it hard to pronounce their names but their performance are beautifully delivered.
This movie is about forgiveness, family, and the realization of what loving a person really means?
This might be an emotionally disturbing movie but it’s the best venue to know what your partner got. I swear don’t let this year end without watching this movie with your husband or boyfriend. I highly recommend it.
You can watch it HERE… it’s subtitled in English so you still can understand it… I learn to speak conversational Korean language through watching Korean films. Watch it… or if you won’t believe me you can read reviews.
wow.. nindot diay ni te hehehe.. dli man kaau ko fan sa korean movies mas ganahan ko sa ila series.. I've watched so daghan na jud.. as in addict to the max..
ReplyDeleteHmmm... papanoorin ko nga ito. :) I agree with you, some Pinoy movies tend to recycle stories (some are even derived from other foreign movies). There's this Japanese movie that I got to watch on TV, but I forgot the title... gustong gusto ko rin yun. :)
ReplyDeleteYou can check my GT post HERE.
i agree with you sis. I can count on my fingers kung ilan lang ang napanood kong tagalog movies. tinitipid kase ng mga producers para malaki ang kitain nila kaya ang result ay lousy films.
ReplyDeletei like korean movies and koreanovelas too
