FLOR DE LUNA’s (Moon Flower) Uncertainties

Forgive me for this, but I’m quiet confused about the name of this flower. In the Philippines most folks would call this flor de luna, this is a Spanish term literally translated moon flower. But when I Googled it, another type of moon flower would appear, it’s I think the legitimate moon flower which is a family of morning glory, only moon flowers opened their flowers at night. I’m thinking maybe they belong to the same family only with different lovely faces.

What confused me more is that Flor de Luna, a Philippine drama series which was aired when I was younger, gained the most popular search in Google and not the flower, how sad!

Well, anyway does anyone know as to what identity this pretty, pure looking flower holds? For now I’ll just called this one the uncertain Flor de Luna.

Its vine covered the trellis at Ateneo de Davao High School bldg.
