TAKE A YOGA RETREAT

When I was still single I used to attend yoga sessions with a friend, in fact I religiously visit the center and slowly had mastered my Asana (Yoga Postures) and my Pranayama (Yoga Breathing) but it was interrupted when I got married and bore children my friend then moved to another city and left me with no one to share each sessions with, eventually I stopped.

I’m just being nostalgic because as I was pulling some stuff out of my closet I got hold of my old yoga mat, I was thinking, maybe I should go back.

I prefer doing yoga than straining my muscles with the usual gym exercise. Yoga is a holistic approach to achieving balance in life; it helps generate a sense of oneness with your body, mind and spirit.

Physically, it tones your muscles, promotes flexibility and if done regularly this will eventually gives you a strong and athletic body. With my experience, I had difficulty in the beginning, the physical workout of yoga can be painful at first but when you get the grip of it, when you develop this deep sense of concentration, you’ll definitely perform what your mind will tell your body to do.

Mentally, yoga teaches you to be quiet and direct your mind, your focus, your energy where you want it to be. This aspect of yoga is what I love best. Yogis develop this sense of positive thought, self-acceptance and concentration to command your thought to perform even the most difficult asama. This is where I honed my focus, incredibly a help.

Spiritually, yogis develop this sense of oneness and awareness of their body and a profound relationship with the world around them; develop this sense of connection between the body, the spirit and the mind. Hence, the idea that yoga is a holistic approach to gaining life’s balance while doing exercise.

And  if  you’re  planning  right  now  to  release all these stresses in life, taking a wellness yoga retreat uk can be one of the greatest decisions you can make in your life. An escape to some place peaceful and quiet where you can be one, commune with nature is unparalleled.

So what are you waiting for, pack light today and let loose of the urban toxins and renew your inner self again.

Thank lovelies for dropping by.

  1. Never tried yoga before. I've been hearing the health benefits. I'm so busy that I couldn't have any spare time for exercising.
