Saying thank you during the reception can never be enough. It can be a mundane thing to do but it can make someone’s day. Yes, it may mean shelling out extra bucks but like what the cliché says, it’s the thought that counts.

Sending and giving out thank you cards is a way of acknowledging things that have been given and done to you by others, be it material things or even just the simple encouragement or sympathy, it will still matter.

So after receiving and opening your gifts, don’t forget to send out thank you cards. Or better yet, always have a stock of these papers as they really do come in handy, special occasion or not.
