Mountain Log Resort hosted our breakfast on our second day in Lake Sebu. Located just within the town proper, this lake-side resort boasts uninterrupted stillness and a cool sense of privacy it being veiled by numerous species of verdant greenery and distinctive shrubbery.
They have native themed cottages with varied accommodation types to choose from – single room, barkada room (good for 4 pax), family room (good for 2 pax), matrimonial room (good for 2 pax) all these come with basic amenities - clean bathroom, television and wireless fidelity connection.

The picnic tower is one of the attractions of this resort. Got sweaty feet scaling this 700-foot tower, but the view at the top is splendid. It'll give you a 360 panorama of Lake Sebu.
If you love flower photography, (I'm learning the art, you can visit and follow my Instagram gallery to view few of my works, it's @FlowersOfDavao thank you) water lilies are in bloom in the morning, coordinate with the front desk on how to rent a banca and hire a bangkero to take you near them. Know also that these bancas don’t have training wheels, lol, so it is necessary for you to exercise your tremendous sense of balance, otherwise say goodbye to your gadgets if they’re not properly waterproofed. I didn't dare to go far, but managed to take these snaps... I heard that there are also white waterlilies around the lake but they're hard to find. Had we not fall short of time, hunting for one can be an exciting challenge to do. I will certainly do this next visit.
They also have nice and spacious hall where you can hold social events, rental is very affordable that comes with basic event equipment.
