The USA remains high on tourist bucket lists across the world, with many people dreaming of the golden coast of California and the iconic Statue of Liberty. If you are one of these people, here is your list of top attractions you must visit when you reach the USA.

1. Times Square

This bustling hive of tourists, business people and residents is an overwhelming location that summarizes the American spirit or the America that films portray. With its flashing advertisements, chaotic crowds and huge chain stores such as M and M world and Macy's, it is impossible not to fall in love with this icon of New York and the whole of the USA.

2. Niagara Falls

Straddling the border with Canada, Niagara Falls is a bucket list choice for many and is one of the most breathtaking sights in the USA. Whether you want to revel in its vastness or enjoy the tourist attractions that surround it, Niagara is a must-see for travelers of all ages. If you are experiencing it by helicoptering or opt to walk around it, every visitor experiences something different, and just as dazzling.

3. The Grand Canyon

Another natural monument renowned for its size, the Grand Canyon is simply incomprehensible. Its red rock layers are perfect for both geologists and natural history enthusiasts, and each trail looks particularly astounding at sunrise and sunset. The Grand Canyon is wholly inside the state of Arizona and can be reached from Flagstaff and Williams airports. However, for most travelers, flying to Phoenix will be the easiest option, from which it is a four-hour drive. If you need transport during your stay in the USA, you should rent a car near me which can service all your transport needs while you are in the US.

4. Walt Disney World

Walt Disney World is the dream of kids and adults the world over. Visiting this theme park is like escaping from the world for a day or five and being transported to a completely different one. From meeting your favorite characters such as Mickey Mouse and even Mary Poppins to eating at the Beast’s castle and riding on the ride that inspired Pirates of the Caribbean, there is a host of activities for everyone to enjoy.

The fun does not stop into the night, however, with electrical parades and fireworks light up each of the four theme parks every night. Walt Disney World consists of four parks: Magic Kingdom, Epcot, Hollywood Studios and the Animal Kingdom. While Magic Kingdom is the most traditional, it is catered more towards children, while parks such as Epcot are catered more towards older children and adults. However, if rides do not sound like your type of thing, there are a range of activities for adults, who can also spend the day at Disney Springs, a designer shopping area with bars, clubs, and live music.

5. The National Parks

It is hard to choose just one of the National parks for this list: from the first National Park, Yellowstone in Wyoming, the mountains of Yosemite in California and the Everglades deep in Southern Florida, the USA is home to a wild variety of beautiful National parks. These parks are where the very best of America is kept and are your best chance of seeing wildlife such as bears and bald eagles, as well as experiencing the traditional American landscapes for yourself.

America is a dream destination for a reason. Its top attractions may be crowded and catered to tourists, but they are worthwhile visiting for both that tick off the bucket list and their natural majesty.
